The mounts for the mufflers are rather large and to locate them directly over the mufflers would require the mount to be under the rudder pedals. I thought that could be a problem moving the rudder pedals and getting your heals stuck on the mounts. I moved the mounts to just inside the tunnel. I stiffened the floor area and increased the height of the tunnel cover to accommodate the mounts. I mounted the fuel system on top of the tunnel cover.
